Device & Hardware Onboarding

New hire starting Monday? New laptops to roll out? We handle the whole lifecycle — sourcing the right hardware, configuring it securely, and getting your people productive from day one.

From box to productive — done right

Setting up a new computer properly takes hours, and doing it inconsistently creates security gaps and support headaches down the line. West Coast IT standardizes the whole process so every device is set up the same secure way, every time.

We source the right hardware for the job, configure it to your standards, and make sure new team members have everything they need on their first morning — accounts, apps, access, and a device that's protected from the start.

Who it's for

Growing businesses that hire regularly, replace aging equipment, or simply want every device set up consistently and securely instead of ad-hoc. Also ideal for one-time rollouts when you're refreshing your fleet.

Why it matters

Consistent, secure setup means fewer support issues, faster onboarding, and no forgotten accounts or unprotected laptops when someone leaves. It's the difference between IT that scales with you and IT that becomes a liability.

Questions

Frequently asked

Do you supply the hardware, or do we buy it?

Either way works. We can recommend and procure the right devices on your behalf, or configure hardware you've already purchased. You're never locked into buying through us.

How fast can you turn around a new device?

With a standard configuration in place, most devices can be ready within a couple of business days. For planned hires, we set up ahead of the start date so everything's ready on day one.

What happens when an employee leaves?

We follow a secure offboarding process — disabling accounts, revoking access, and wiping or re-imaging the device so it's safe to reissue. No loose ends.

Can you manage devices for remote staff?

Yes. Using our remote management tools we can configure, secure, and support devices wherever your team is working.
